Dear Ladybird and Butterfly Class,

We hope you have had a wonderful Christmas.  Here is this week's timetable and all the resources you will need for your learning at home.  Every week we will ask your adults to email us a copy of one activity.  It will always be the activity highlighted in green on the timetable and one photograph should be sent to our year group email address;

This week we would like to see your drawing and writing about Epiphany, which is celebrated on Wednesday 6th January.  Do you remember that we spoke about the long journey the Three Wise Men took as they travelled to Bethlehem to see the baby Jesus?  We have asked your parents to help you to sound out the words, phrase or sentence you would like to write to match your drawing, but we have asked them not to draw your pictures or to do the writing for you as we would like you to have a go at writing yourself, just as you do in class with us.  Please keep all the activities you complete in a safe place, so that you can bring them into school when we return and we will put them in your special files. 

It is really important that you make time to play and to keep active so that you have a healthy body and mind. Remember that you are amazing Helping Hands and have had lots of training, so perhaps you can think of ways to help your family during this time. 

We look forward to receiving your Epiphany photograph on Thursday.
